The Sea-Land Borders Security & Refugees/Arms/Dual-Use Goods Control Course has finally come to an end. During the two weeks’ course the students received theoretical training on basic maters concerning borders security, but also had an opportunity to watch in practice equipment that used in border security. The course consisted of 43 students out of 10 different Countries (Algeria, Brazil, Ecuador, Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco, Trinidad and Tobacco, UAE, USA and Hellas), have responded with participation in this 2 weeks course. Military and law enforcement personnel, civilians, professionals and students in the field of border security.
At the same time, staff coming from Hellenic Coast Guard, Thessaloniki’s airport, custom office Evzonon and 3rd veterinary hospital supported the practical session of the course.
We should note the great success of the course this year, as it described in the student evaluation forms.
We wish good luck to all of them and especially to the ones who are going to be positioned in borders security positions, where they will put in good use the new skills they acquired.
