On Monday17^th February 2014, the Hellenic Multinational PSOs Training Center (MPSOTC) Commandant and 2 SOs, participated the Legal Conference «Evolution of the Law of Armed Conflicts», at HQ NRDC GR.

   High ranking officers, NATO military experts, legal advisers of the armed forces on one side and prominent academics and researchers of the Public International Law on the other, had the opportunity to discuss on the same table about the contemporary challenges to the Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) enabling a common understanding on the relationship between this part of Law and the operational art.

   The discussions focalized on how operational commanders select and assess potential targets and how the LOAC reflects the logic of military doctrine related to this process, with a special reference to its relationship with the Rules of Engagement (ROE).
